The Co-Active® coach training pathway is considered the most rigorous, ICF-accredited, programme available for professional coaching development. Delivered by expert coaches and supervisors from the world’s largest and oldest in-person coach training organisation, comprising 3 stages:

  1. Fundamentals
  2. Intermediate series (Fulfillment, Balance, Process and Synergy)
  3. CPCC Certification

Co-Active Coach training school - ICF AccreditedAccreditation

CTI's coach training pathway is an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), awarded by the International Coach Federation (ICF)

Introduction to Co-Active

"A defining condition of being human is that we have to understand the meaning of our experience. For some, any uncritically assimilated explanation by an authority figure will suffice. But in contemporary societies, we must learn to make our own interpretations rather than act on the purposes, beliefs, judgments and feelings of others"

(Mezirow 1997, p.5). - referenced...

Balance Coaching workshopBalance

3 day workshop

In this course, coaches learn to assist their clients in developing new perspectives and creating a plan of action grounded in commitment. Because people live in constant motion, it’s easy to forget that we have a choice in everything we do. • Help your clients realise many new perspectives
  • Coach clients to plan from possibility rather than circumstances
  • Coach clients to create an exciting, life-affirming strategy for action that arises out of a chosen perspective and their resonant choice
  • Use new techniques to get clients into effective action full of aliveness
  • Use structures to keep the client in action

CPCC Certification

CPCC LOGOThe Certified Professional Co-Active® Coach (CPCC) training pathway offers you more than simply a credential. This programme is about the making of masterful professional coaches.

Our CPCC students receive more personalised attention than in any other programme, delivered by master coaches and supervisors from the world’s best, most rigorous, ICF-accredited, coach-training programme.

Participation in CTI's CPCC Programme assures you:

  • In-depth and personalised feedback from real coaching sessions with real clients. You will have multiple supervisors during the programme to maximise your development en-route to becoming a Certified Professional Co-Active® Coach (CPCC)
  • Learning that is designed to build coaching mastery through modelling, practice, supervision and feedback, adjustment and continued practice. Study time will include formats of both text/ reading and audio/ listening
  • Deeper and more successful client relationships as a result of authentic, sustainable transformation and impact as a result of your coaching
  • Greater awareness of yourself as a Co-active® Coach, how to access your expanded range and empowerment of your own unique coaching presence
  • Close community with your learning pod of 9 students from around the world, including pod leader and 3 supervisors

Why students join CTI's CPCC programme following the 4 intermediate modules:

The CPCC Programme delivers a further 96 hours of ICF-Accredited training. To meet CTI's CPCC programme requirements in preparation for the oral and written exams, students must have accumulated 100 hours of client coaching practice, logged from the start of the programme.

Great coaches become great through lots and lots of practice and experience. What beats practice alone, especially for the developing coach, is real coaching practice that is gained during a rigorous programme of advanced-level training, supervision, assessment and feedback - which substantially raises coaching effectiveness and potential for success as a professional coach.

By the end of the CPCC programme and upon successful completion of both oral and written exams, students have gained 200 hours of ICF-accredited training and supervision, and a minimum of 100 hours of logged, client coaching experience. CPCC graduates who wish to apply for ICF credentialing have far exceeded the requirements for the ACC level. Please refer to the ICF website for full application requirements.

CTI's CPCC Certification programme is for the serious coach seeking mastery and success as a professional coach.

Transformative Learning

One of the key aspects that sets CTI apart from other coach training institutes is the use of Transformative Learning in our curriculum. Transformative Learning theory says that the process of perspective transformation has three dimensions: psychological (changes in understanding of the self), convictional (revision of belief systems), and behavioural (changes in lifestyle) (Clark 1991). referenced...

Individuals are no longer attaining fulfilment through outdated organisational patterns and paradigms. Instead, they are seeking ways to uncover and express their authentic selves and limitless potential through raised consciousness.
